I can’t believe This Never Happened hits its 10-year milestone in 2026. Nearly a decade ago, Lane 8 transformed his no-cellphone concept show into a full-fledged label built on living in the moment—connecting with people around you without the distractions of photos and videos. It’s about creating core memories that last a lifetime and friendships that stick. Lane 8 has soundtracked so many late nights, long drives, and quiet moments for me, and that no-phones ethos is exactly why I fell in love with the label—pure, present, emotional music. Now, as TNH turns 10, Lane 8 has announced the first celebrations: London – May 22, 2026 Colorado – June 6–14, 2026 These events will honor a decade of unforgettable moments, pure melodies, and the TNH community that feels like family. This Never Happened – Look back on 10 Years It’s wild to see how far TNH has come. What started as a simple concept show became a worldwide phenomenon. From intimate beginnings to sold-out nights across the globe, TNH created spaces where we could truly connect—with the music and with each other. The summer gatherings across North America remain some of my favorite memories, blending stunning outdoor venues with Lane 8’s signature sound. Lane 8 gave us albums like Little By Little, Brightest Lights, Reviver and most recently Childish. Each one shaped melodic house in its own way. For over ten years, he’s also dropped seasonal mixtapes that feel like a tradition—soundtracks for spring, summer, fall, and winter. TNH grew into a home for incredible artists—Sultan + Shepard, Le Youth, Jerro, EMBRZ, and Massane. They all share the same ethos: pure, emotional music. For me, TNH is more than a label—it’s a feeling. I’ve made friends across the world through shows, Discord, and even the original Facebook group. TNH carried me through hard times and the happiest ones. During COVID, Lane 8’s Room Service Festival set was a lifeline. Ten years later, TNH still reminds me to live in the moment.
