EDM Reality Dating Series Wooking For Love Seeks Contestants

A brand-new reality dating series inspired by the culture of electronic music festivals is officially in the works, and it’s coming straight out of Denver’s thriving rave and festival community. Titled Wooking For Love, the upcoming show is now actively seeking contestants ahead of its first season, which is expected to begin filming in 2026. Described as a festival-forward twist on the traditional dating show format, the series will follow 16 self-described “diverse wooks” as they search for love, connection, and their ultimate festival partner across 12 full episodes. All contestants will live together in a ranch-style villa, where they’ll take part in a wide range of music- and festival-inspired challenges designed to test compatibility, creativity, and teamwork. Challenges will reportedly span everything from flow-art choreography and performance-based tasks to hands-on stage production and crew-style competitions, grounding the show deeply within authentic festival culture rather than a typical luxury dating-show environment. Show creator LaRue Allegretto confirmed plans to collaborate with Denver’s community-owned venue Nova Studios for production. Speaking on the format, Allegretto shared, We’re gonna be cutting off wristbands instead of giving out roses. The show is also being positioned as fully inclusive, welcoming applicants of all identities, sexual orientations, and relationship styles. According to Allegretto, interest has been overwhelming so far, with over 350 applications already submitted ahead of casting. While Wooking For Love leans playfully into festival subculture, the concept reflects a broader shift in electronic music toward community-driven storytelling, lifestyle content, and underground culture stepping into the mainstream media spotlight. Filming will take place in and around Denver, long recognized as one of North America’s most active bass- and festival-centric cities.
