The trio of Axwell, Sebastian Ingrosso, and Steve Angello performed at the Pier 80 Warehouse, located nearby the prestigious Midway nightclub, on December 29 and 31. For those two nights, Swedish House Mafia showed the audiences that although the year 2026 was approaching very close, they still provided world-class musical production qualities that made them one of the best EDM groups in the last decade. The openers were the illustrious UK garage/house duo Disclosure and fellow countryman, and also talented garage and bass music artist, MPH and these stars made sure that the crowd continued to get the movement going before Swedish House Mafia begin to go on stage. Then, when the trio began to make their presence known, plenty of fans pulled out their phones to record an unforgettable moment that will end their 2025 wonderfully. Swedish House Mafia pulled out the top works ranging from latest tracks such as ‘Wait So Long (Why Do I Have To)’ and ‘Finally’, recent hits like ‘Moth To A Flame’ and ‘Heaven Takes You Home’, and classic bangers coming from the likes of ‘Don’t You Worry Child’ and ‘Save The World’. Mesmerizing lights, euphoric melodies, and an all-around nostalgic atmosphere that inspired fans to reminisce back to the early and mid-2010s. As the year of 2026 has now arrived, what Swedish House Mafia produced at Pier 80 showed that no matter the decade, the trio are still able to produce top-notch performances for old and new fans alike.
