New Dallas Nightlife Venue CTRL Room Debuts With Breakaway Festival Afterparties

Dallas nightlife will soon welcome a new venue designed around sound, atmosphere, and intentional energy. CTRL Room, a dual-concept nightlife space located at 2511 Swiss Avenue, is set to officially open on April 9, 2026, launching alongside a weekend of official Breakaway Dallas Music Festival afterparties. Built as a design-forward venue rooted in house and dance music culture, CTRL Room aims to create an intimate environment where sound and crowd energy take priority over spectacle. At the center of the concept are two distinct yet complementary spaces. The main CTRL Room is a 400-capacity immersive dancefloor built for intensity and proximity to the DJ. Designed with a darker aesthetic and tightly packed layout, the room emphasizes connection between the artist and crowd, creating a high-energy environment that feels immediate and electric. Hidden within the venue is TreeHaus, a second 300-capacity room that offers a contrasting atmosphere. Featuring greenery, warm lighting, and natural textures, the space provides a more organic and atmospheric escape while maintaining the rhythm of the night. Together, the two rooms create a deliberate balance between control and release, intensity and immersion, allowing guests to move between two distinct energies throughout the evening. Programming at CTRL Room will focus on a rotating mix of international DJs, emerging artists, and local selectors shaping Dallas’ evolving electronic music scene. Rather than chasing trends, the venue’s philosophy centers on intentional curation and letting the dancefloor energy develop naturally. Opening weekend will coincide with Breakaway Dallas Music Festival, with the venue hosting a series of official festival afterparties. Early announced performances include MashBit on April 10 and San Pacho on April 11, with additional programming expected to be revealed in the coming weeks. With a combined capacity of 700 guests, CTRL Room is intentionally scaled to create a dense, connected dancefloor experience—one designed to keep the energy alive long after the festival stages close.
