Igloofest Montréal 2026 officially launched its season on Thursday, January 25, with a sold-out opening night headlined by Disco Lines. Winter Warriors travelled from across the country from Ottawa, Toronto, and Quebec City to name a few places that were at least a 1.5 hour + travel in treacherous weather conditions to be part of the opening of the season. Despite the cold and snow, excitement was high as opening night approached a sold-out crowd, with anticipation peaking in the minutes leading up to Disco Lines’ 9:30 p.m. set.
