Italian Techno producer Enrico Sangiuliano released his obscure rendition of German DJ Gregor Tresher’s ‘Sleeping Giants’. Available now via Break New Soil Rec, Sangiuliano’s remix offers a dark and distorted take on the original. Nonetheless, Sangiuliano twists the track upside down and adds more intensity and severity. The remix is an absolutely underground dancefloor banger, with heavy vocal distortions and an acid bassline that paces the song beautifully. The main melody is now a supporting character to Enrico’s hypnotic synths and suspense-filled soundscape. Moreover, Sangiuliano respects the sound of the original, while promoting his own denser interpretation of the track. NINETOZERO The remix is Sangiuliano’s first 2026 release and first track following his latest release from his limited label NINETOZERO. The final chapter of the label is yet to be released. The label consists of 10 releases, starting in 2022. Tracks like ‘Physical Change’ and ‘Reflection’ featuring Charlotte de Witte represent Enrico’s ideals of fighting perpetuity. The label itself is a statement to oppose the immortality of brands and music. Through his label Break New Soil Rec, he has challenged ideas that define the techno genre, making music that’s not just for the dancefloor and other DJs to play, but for the entire body.
