Amnesia Ibiza Marks 50 Years with Spectacular Opening Party Launch

The Iconic Ibiza Night Club, Amnesia has stood the test of time and is celebrating their 50 year anniversary this year. Since 1976, Amnesia has remained a sanctuary for those who put the room before the image. A space built on music and atmosphere, and a lasting commitment to what matters. Amnesia, a beloved Ibiza institution, proudly stands as the island’s iconic ‘temple of dance’. The legendary opening party of the anniversary season will take place on Saturday, May 9th. Ibiza Changed. We Didn’t. 2026 Opening Party The opening party announcement showcases a lineup featuring some of Ibiza’s most popular DJs, including Joseph Capriati, Amalie Lens, 999999999, and more. Amnesia offers two areas with different sounds. Partygoers can experience techno in the Mainroom and house music on the Terrace. Joseph Capriati and Seth Troxler lead the charge into the morning light. Capriati has become the “unofficial king” of the Terrace in recent years. He often plays extended sets that last until the sun is high. The Main Room is purely for the techno lovers with Amelie Lens and the high-BPM energy of 999999999. This room will likely feature the iconic Ice Cannons in full force. Residents like Mar‑T and CAAL define Amnesia’s DNA; they’ve shaped the club’s story for decades and now take prime slots for this milestone event. Alongside clubbers and DJs from across the world, Amnesia will use this moment to celebrate not only the history it has helped write to date, but also the exciting future of nightlife as it continues to platform both established and emerging talent.
