Nkosinathi Innocent Maphumulo, known as Black Coffee, is a Grammy-winning South African DJ and producer from Durban. Pioneering Afro-house and deep house globally, he blends African rhythms with soulful house music. His 2021 album Subconsciously won the Grammy for Best Dance/Electronic Album. Overcoming a life-changing injury at 14, he became one of the world's most celebrated electronic artists with performances at Coachella, Ultra, and Hï Ibiza. Founder of Soulistic Music, he champions emerging South African talent. Active across 5 cities including Ibiza, Detroit, Berlin and London, with 10 recorded performances.
