Sven Väth

Sven Väth is a German DJ and producer from Frankfurt. He founded Cocoon Records in 1999 and the Cocoon club nights at Amnesia Ibiza. His career began in the 1980s Frankfurt scene, DJing at Dorian Gray and Omen. Productions include releases on Eye Q Records, which he co-founded. His DJ style centers on extended techno sets, often exceeding eight hours. Annual Cocoon in the Park events in Leeds and residencies at major festivals continue his decades-long presence in techno. Active across 8 cities including Manchester, Ibiza, Berlin and London, with 9 recorded performances. Notable venues include Amnesia Ibiza, Brooklyn Storehouse and Crobar - Buenos Aires. Has shared lineups with Ben Sims, Deborah De Luca and Tania Vulcano.
