Virtual Riot and YDG Link for ‘Paralyzed’ on Monstercat

Virtual Riot and YDG have teamed up for ‘Paralyzed,’ a new single out now on Monstercat Uncaged featuring vocals from Luma. The track fuses high-impact brostep with orchestral elements and melodic structure, built around Luma’s vocal lines.The track starts with Luma’s vocals layered over atmospheric pads and subtle percussion, gradually introducing horn sections that bring scale and momentum. The buildup leads into a heavy drop driven by precise bass riffs, aggressive midrange growls, and detailed sound design—hallmarks of Virtual Riot’s approach to dubstep. From there, tension builds as it switches on and off with Luma’s vocal delivery. Virtual Riot shares, “It was so much fun working with YDG, definitely brought me out of my Brostep comfort-zone a bit and into more wonky territory and I loved it!” YDG adds, “Virtual Riot and I brought both our sounds together on this one and it came out perfectly.
