In just over a month from now, the 5th Element Festival is scheduled to take place from January 7th through 13th on the Caribbean island of Puerto Rico in the towns of San Juan, Isla Verde, and Río Grande. More specifically, the complete programming will span beach stages and jungle venues across Puerto Rico’s lush landscape. To soundtrack this paradise location, the organizers have booked some of the best of what the house and techno universe has to offer. Ben Sterling, Archie Hamilton, Dixon, Danny Tenaglia, and Nicole Moudaber, just to name a few. Most importantly, Chus & Ceballos will kick off their highly anticipated reunion tour there after a five-year hiatus. Speaking to Billboard about The 5th Element in May, the festival’s organizer, Phillip Pulitano said he came up with the idea during an ayahuasca ceremony, an experience that made him want to create a festival that was about more than just partying.
