Two titans of trance and progressive unite as Ferry Corsten and Marsh return with ‘Attraction’ – a soaring, cross-generational collaboration first premiered to 11,000 fans at London’s iconic Old Royal Naval College during Anjunadeep Open Air. Marking their second studio collaboration, ‘Attraction’ bridges the past, present, and future of the genre. The release lands as a two-part package: Marsh delivers a deeper, emotive progressive interpretation on Anjunadeep, while Ferry Corsten’s high-energy channels his unmistakable trance legacy. Their previous collaboration, ‘Fulfillment,’ which was included in Ferry’s latest artist album CONNECT, garnered support from Tiësto, Armin van Buuren, and David Guetta, among others. Hailing from Rotterdam, Ferry Corsten has been a driving force in electronic music for over three decades, continuously shaping and evolving the sound of Trance and beyond through his iconic aliases System F and Gouryella. I first met Ferry during the William Orbit classical project when I was working at Warners. He did a couple of classic Ferry Corsten remixes for us at a time when he was making a name for himself as the melodic trance guy. His mix of Barber’s Adagio still sounds awesome today. When we were starting Above & Beyond, Ferry Corsten was one of three people we hoped to emulate.
