We’re already a few weeks into 2026, but it’s been a quiet start to January (as usual) and now feels like a good of a time as any to share our list of artists who are poised to make some serious moves this year. On this list, we’ve included artists from every end of the electronic music universe: melodic house, dubstep, drum & bass, trap, and more. We’ve even included a few vocalists and singer-songwriters in here. Some of these names you’ve definitely heard of, some of them will be new to you. But they’ve all got something in common: all 20 of these artists need your attention, and they need it now. With that being said, he emerged from the shadows of project management with a couple of strong releases to finish out 2025, and show no signs of stopping. Hint: you can expect to hear some material from him on our label, Magnetic Magazine Recordings, very soon. The veteran producer’s poised for a strong 2026, and we’re excited to see what’s coming for him. Consequential We’ve talked about Consequential a few times on the site, and it very well looks like 2026 is going to be his year. Fresh off the release of “Dark Sky“, the British producer’s unique jungle sound continues to get better and better with every track he releases (can you believe he’s only using Studio One to make tracks like this?). It appears as if we’re not the only group pushing for him, too: he’s fresh off the heels of a BBC Introducing mix. That should be a pretty big indicator that Consequential is somebody you need to be paying attention to this year. Cloudcage This American dynamo has been releasing at a non-stop pace for close to three years now, and while you could argue that his breakout was two years ago, we think this is the year that Cloudcage takes the next step. The melodic house producer & leukemia survivor’s sound has continued to mature every single year, and with a new EP on the horizon, several songs in prominent rotation on Sirius XM Chill, and an upcoming hometown headline show in April, he seems well-poised to make 2026 the biggest year of his young career. He’s a feel-good story and a legit talent all in one. If you haven’t heard of him before, you’re missing out. San Mateo Drive Speaking of American melodic house phenoms, San Mateo Drive has skyrocketed in popularity over the last few years – and all for good reason. Boasting a uniquely upbeat melodic house sound with millions of streams under his belt, the classically-trained-volinist-turned-producer captures the California coast in every track he releases. 2025 was the biggest year of his career so far with him achieving several hits, from “Early Years” to “That’s Alright”. There is no reason to believe that he won’t continue this upward momentum into 2026. If you’re set for a road trip this year, let San Mateo Drive be your soundtrack. Emmy Adelle It’s not often you find an artist as true to herself as Emmy Adelle. The former economics major turned self-taught producer and DJ exploded onto the scene about a year ago. Ranging from beautiful melodics to festival-ready pop, Emmy’s house sound is turning heads in her home city of New York City, where she’s played some pretty high profile gigs recently. Our favorite part of her music is that passion & authenticity shines through every track, and we think she’s got serious staying power in this scene. Keep an eye out for her. Vellichor Here’s another talent that we’re particularly excited about here at Magnetic. American producer & vocalist Vellichor jumped up on our radar recently, and for good reason. His attention to detail, obsession over analog synthesis, beautiful melodic work, and airy vocals make him a truly alluring talent that we just can’t get enough of. His sound, to put it simply, is addictive. We’ll be putting out some music from him this year, so before then, take a listen to his back catalog and see just why you should have this rising star on your radar. Kozlow New York City is one of the hottest cities for dance music right now. Here’s one of its most unique creatives – a label owner & event planner who’s also a gifted producer & electronic violinist in his own right. Kozlow’s accolades speak for themselves: violin performances alongside Carl Cox at Burning Man and turning his ANTHR FCKNG PARTY event series into a label highlight them. But, in between all of that is an artist putting out some of the cleanest tech house we’ve heard in recent years. With his label recently putti
