Lilly Palmer: strength through techno

Lilly Palmer has had a phenomenal rise in recent years. The Amsterdam-based techno DJ was voted into last year’s Top 100 DJs poll at No. 57, one of the highest new entries, but in truth she’s been honing her craft for well over a decade. Like her DJ sets, her debut album ‘Bigger Than Techno’ moves through a selection of harder styles. It’s also the name of her events brand, a nod to her belief that techno can and should be a tool for connection and social progress. In her cover interview, Niamh O’Connor speaks to Palmer about her journey so far, facing her fears, and finding strength through techno.
