Last month, officials in Clark County approved plans for a historic dance music parade along the Las Vegas Strip ahead of Electric Daisy Carnival Las Vegas weekend. Now, Insomniac has officially unveiled full details for the debut World Party Parade, a free and all-ages celebration set to transform the city’s most iconic boulevard. The inaugural World Party Parade will take place Thursday, May 14 at 6 PM PT, turning the Las Vegas Strip into a massive moving dance floor filled with music, art, and performers. The immersive event will feature more than 30 art cars, each equipped with large-scale sound systems and DJs, alongside hundreds of dancers, performers, and costumed participants bringing Insomniac’s signature festival energy to the streets. As the parade winds through the Strip, it will pass several iconic Las Vegas landmarks including SAHARA, Fontainebleau, The Peppermill, Resorts World Las Vegas, Circus Circus Hotel & Casino, and Hilton Grand Vacations Club, transforming the city’s famous corridor into a vibrant display of dance music culture. In a statement announcing the event, Insomniac founder Pasquale Rotella shared that the parade represents a deeply personal vision for the brand. It’s always exciting to bring something new to life, but the World Party Parade feels deeply personal. It’s unlike anything we’ve done before…The idea of bringing people together to celebrate dance music culture right on the Las Vegas Strip through a music parade is something we’ve dreamed about for a long time. Rotella also emphasized that the decision to make the parade free and open to all ages was intentional, allowing both festivalgoers and local residents to participate in the celebration. Opening this up as a free experience means more people can be a part of it and feel that connection, energy, and sense of community…This is about giving back to the culture, to the community, and to the city of Las Vegas. The event will take place just one day before EDC Las Vegas weekend officially begins, setting the tone for one of the largest dance music gatherings in the world. With massive art cars, DJs, and performers rolling down the Strip, the World Party Parade is shaping up to be one of the most unique public dance music events Las Vegas has ever seen. More announcements and updates about the parade are expected in the coming weeks. The post Insomniac Announces Plans for World Party Parade on Las Vegas Strip appeared first on EDMTunes.
