Hot off his surprise appearances with Dabin, William Black and Griz b2b Wooli’s sets at EDC Las Vegas this past weekend, ILLENIUM has revealed the special guests for his final ODYSSEY performances at Sphere Las Vegas. ALLYCVT will support the Grammy-nominated producer on Friday, July 3, while Sullivan King takes the stage Saturday, July 4. The announcement caps off what has been a groundbreaking residency for the melodic bass heavyweight. ILLENIUM Presents ODYSSEY at Sphere previously ran from March 5-14 and April 2-4, establishing a new benchmark for immersive electronic music experiences at the world’s most technologically advanced venue. ODYSSEY represents a bold evolution for ILLENIUM, combining heightened emotional storytelling with maximalist production around his latest album of the same name via Republic Records. The narrative follows two female warriors searching for each other, learning self-acceptance and forgiveness while discovering wholeness along their journey. The visual spectacle takes audiences through vortexes and wormholes, distant planets and demon lairs in what amounts to a classic hero’s journey befitting the ODYSSEY title. The story begins with ILLENIUM’s signature phoenix rising from the ashes before expanding into an epic sci-fi adventure. The show’s setlist spans album cuts like ‘Feels Like You,’ ‘Love Is A Chemical,’ and ‘Monster,’ alongside major collaborations including ‘Don’t Want Your Love’ with Ellie Goulding, ‘Feel Live’ with Bastille and Dabin, and ‘Forever’ with Tom Grennan. Tracks from his 2023 self-titled album also make appearances, including ‘Shivering’ featuring Spiritbox’s Courtney LaPlante. A standout moment comes with the debut of ‘Die Living,’ ILLENIUM’s collaboration with David Guetta and Dustin Lynch, performed with a live string quartet that has become a performance highlight. The new single made its world premiere within the ODYSSEY Sphere experience. The breathtaking visuals come courtesy of Berlin-based animation studio Woodblock in collaboration with Sphere Studios, both renowned for cinematic storytelling and immersive design.
