GENESI & Xoro Release ‘Cheat Code’ on Insomniac Records

Italian producer GENESI and Paris-born, London-based producer-songwriter Xoro have joined forces for a new single, ‘Cheat Code,’ out now on Insomniac Records. The track features UK singer-songwriter Aya Anne alongside Mither, the alter-ego of Manchester MC DRS, delivering a melodic house and techno cut built around a dual vocal dynamic and a dense, dark sonic palette. Aya Anne and Mither trade roles across the track — her cool, measured delivery sitting against his more abrasive, rapid-fire bars. The contrast keeps things moving, while the production layers pitch-sliding synth leads, a driving low-end, and ticking percussive details that build into something relentless. GENESI is no stranger to Insomniac Records, having previously appeared on the label with ‘See You Sweat’ alongside Max Styler and ‘Edge of the World’ with MEDUZA — tracks that have collectively cleared 16 million streams. The Italian producer also holds releases on Diynamic, including the ‘Freak’ EP with MEDUZA and his solo ‘Hyper’ EP, both of which drew support from Anyma, Solomun, and other key selectors. On the live front, his 2026 schedule has included Why Not Festival, HÏ Ibiza, Beats for Love, ARC Chicago, CRSSD, Veld Music Festival, and UNVRS Ibiza. Xoro has carved out a lane at the crossroads of underground club culture and crossover dance music.
