Damian Lazarus will bring Day Zero back to Tulum on January 9, 2027, once again transforming the jungle into one of electronic music’s most immersive festival settings. Combining underground music, large-scale production, art installations, and ceremonial influences inspired by the region, the event has built a reputation as a destination experience that goes far beyond the traditional festival format. Since debuting in 2012, Day Zero has become known for its marathon sets beneath the jungle canopy, towering stage designs, roaming performers, and sunrise moments that blur the line between rave and ritual. Curated by Damian Lazarus, the festival continues to showcase a mix of established selectors, live acts, and emerging artists spanning house, techno, and experimental electronic music through both Day Zero and Crosstown Rebels. Over the years, the brand has expanded internationally with editions in Brazil and Bali while remaining deeply tied to the identity it created in Tulum. Beyond the music, Day Zero continues its Crosstown Consciousness sustainability efforts, including beach cleanups, turtle conservation projects, recycling programs, and a partnership with PETGAS that converts festival plastic waste into biodegradable fuel used onsite. The festival also works alongside local Mayan leaders on ceremonial programming and continues to spotlight regional talent through El Teatro, a stage dedicated entirely to Mexican artists. Tickets of Trust will go live on June 2nd at 11am Tulum time for pre-sale registrants. General on-sale will follow at 3pm Tulum time. Sign up now for early access here.
