Afrojack and Lucas & Steve Debut On Black Book Records With ‘Control’

The iconic Afrojack sound is coming to Chris Lake’s Black Book Records. In collaboration with Lucas & Steve,‘Control’ is a club record weapon that will send dancefloors into a frenzy. Afrojack continues his push into the global house underground through his Kapuchon alias, following a run of intimate club shows and growing support from names like Swedish House Mafia, Anyma, Dom Dolla, and Peggy Gou. It’s a more stripped-back, club-driven direction that also sees Lucas & Steve stepping outside their usual lane into something deeper. Timing-wise, the release lands alongside a major Ultra Music Festival weekend, where Afrojack will perform twice on Sunday, opening the mainstage as Kapuchon before returning later in the day for his AFROJACK set, reinforcing the duality of this moment and the direction behind the record. ‘Control’ features a sultry and dominant female vocal. A hypnotic lead with plenty of punch will have you locked in through both drops. The trio doesn’t unveil everything off the bat, making you want more. The three Dutch DJs do a great job of building tension after the first drop. This one will be popping off all Miami Music Week.
