What is Wild Forts & Claremont?

Following a packed-out show at The Talleyrand at the end of October with the virtuosic Paltin, Claremont returns to the venue at the end of February alongside live set specialist and long time pal Wild Forts, again fundraising for Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP). Mike Wild, the brainchild of Wild Forts, crafts unique and vibrant life sets, featuring deep and psychedelic house and techno laced with Mike's ethereal melodic and vocal lines, all put together with a collection of analogue equipment that has been lovingly studied and pieced together, to a point where he can now present his songs and ideas with plenty of scope for improvisation and off-the-cuff twists and turns that make his live show a must see. Claremont, the alias of Stockport-based musician and producer James Green, has been a long-time creative outlet for James' electronic writing whilst studying and performing in a myriad of different outfits, including indie-rockers Spring King and Meadow Meadow. Now joined by bandmates Kieran Joyce (guitar) and James Holt (keys), James is able to get behind the drums and breathe new life into tracks that span the last decade and a half, inspired by the likes of Four Tet, Floating Points, Machinedrum and more.
