In this series we book DJs from across bass, grime, jungle and house, giving them space to step outside their usual lanes. The Plastic Loft is where worlds collide…… Bass heads, House heads, disco lovers and crate diggers all in one room, playing records they don’t usually get to drop. Manchester mainstay and multi-instrumentalist, @metrodomeuk blends electronic, breaks, bass and rave in both productions and DJ sets. With releases on 1985 Music, Red Laser, Hyperdub and more, he’s a deep-digging selector n a truly talented artist forever in the Manchester history books. North West selector splitting time between Liverpool & Manchester, @daizz.dj is a fiercely multi-genre musical DJ with deep roots in jungle, breaks, UK bass and soulful club sounds. A founder of Hit.The.Breaks, a respected radio presenter and community builder, and a wicked selector. On the 26th these artists take their craft into new territory, stepping outside their usual lanes to explore the sounds of the plastic loft. The name’s a clue! Plastic nods to Plastic People, FWD>>, bass, grime and jungle roots. The Loft takes it up to Paradise Garage vibes, disco, funk, soul, sweat and smiles. Expect a proper musical joyride across the night!
