What is The Listening Room?

Come and feel, touch, hear, and feel again... get lost in the world of sounds and shapes and experience it with all of your cells. We are creating a space where we can enjoy each other’s company, listening to music and enjoy the space inspired by art and nature. We called it the Listening Room, becasue we want to listen to music without turning the speakers up so loud that they hurt and damage our ears. In return we ask you to either speak quietly when in space or please use the designated areas for chatting loudly. It is pretty relaxed, and we just want to explore sounds in the space and be creative, so be ready for anything. it is definelty not a party night out. There will be ambient, deep house, ambinet electronica, chilled rolling beats, field recordings, acoustic, non electronic and more. So come with eyes and ears wide open and mouth wide shut ;). This is a non profit event and we have chosen this venue becasue we like to support local venues that promote creativity - any donation will help the space to survive. No food is served but we are near london road so just get anything you like from takeaways, and B.Y.O.B. Please remember that more upbeat and dancy music will be possibly played out toward the begining so if you like to hear those come early. We are looking forward to see you all :)
