SaladeFriday presents an evening of experimental Shaabi in Paris on February 17, 2026. The lineup features a newly formed duo consisting of Lebanese pop artist Zeid Hamdan and drummer Uriel Barthelemi, who merge Arab pop with avant-garde experimental drumming. Also performing is PRAED, a Swiss-Lebanese duo comprising Raed Yassin and Paed Conca. Active since 2006, they are celebrated for their fusion of Egyptian shaabi with electronics and improvisation as they mark their 20th anniversary. Opening the night is an electro-acoustic experimental tarab trio with Tracy Bedran on vocals and Tarab, Akram Hajj on percussion and noise, and Paul Toubia playing the Bouzouki and electronics.
