rally returns to night club 101 for a FREE fundraiser for NYC Migrant Solidarity. we’re taking over the downstairs club for an open format night of delights with pillars of the NYC music scene who are keeping it eclectic, fun, and unexpected. our line-up includes yaz lancaster, leader of the experimental noise series Heavy Hearts; DJ Lady Lane, fresh off of a Mister Nonstop debut and frequent Planetarium collaborator; Kaili, responsible for many a sweaty night at Mood Ring, Bossa Nova Civic Club, and Papi Juice; Dynoman, a scenebuilder who co-runs parties that focus on sonic exploration like Rare Frequency Transmissions and Tarka; and rising upstart DJ cega, whose blend of disco and deep house makes its Manhattan debut. for a rally-first, we’ll have rapper See The Lieutenant emceeing to keep the energy going until late. come and explore the diversity of sounds at the beating heart of NYC’s nightlife, all in support of our migrant neighbors! this event is free and no one will be turned away for lack of funds, but we encourage you to support the cause with a donation. QR codes will be posted around the venue. All proceeds will go to NYC Migrant Solidarity. - - - As a rapper, See The Lieutenant is versatile. You may hear her over a drumless beat, a grime-inspired UK rap instrumental, or even a jungle track as an mc; either way, she’ll sound just as effortlessly cool. Raised in Atlanta and now based in Brooklyn, See evokes a swag reminiscent of the early 00s and inspired by her up-north roots, Jamaican heritage, and UK travels. She chooses to lean into this multifaceted geography in her art as well as said nostalgia in her approach to her promo, opting for dvd realness and physical media. Yaz Lancaster grants themselves permission to do it all. Their expansive practice encompasses experimental electroacoustic performances, notated compositions, post-genre DJ-ing, music writing, steel pan, collage-based poetry, collaborative work, and organizing DIY shows across New York City’s underground and nightlife scenes. They perform as death ambient project "medium." with gg200bpm, and run the community-driven live performance series HEAVY HEARTS. Dynoman is an artist, producer, and DJ based in NYC. He has developed a sound, Haal, which is a gateway to enter the state of Haal. Furthermore, Dynoman is the co-runner of RFT and Tarka, and a pioneer of Karachi’s electronic scene as the co-founder of now defunct Forever South. Unbound by genre, his DJ sets are immersive, intentional, deep, and thought provoking while his productions are hypnotic, rhythmic, and ritualistic. DJ Lady Lane (Rena Anakwe) is an interdisciplinary artist, performer, poet and healer that uses sound, visuals, and scent to explore where and how traditional healing practices, spirituality, and performance can connect and fracture. Her deeper inquiry is how reconnecting to nature can help us to understand and mend these fractures, not only for ourselves but in relation to one another. Based in Brooklyn, by way of Nigeria and Canada, she is currently a member of New Inc’s Year 12 Incubator 2025-2026 cohort in the Extended Realities Track. Kaili is a NY-based multidisciplinary artist and creator whose work revolves around dreaming up new sonic and visual worlds. Having DJ'ed alongside artists such as DJ Lag, LSDXOXO, and Mobilegirl, she's also performed at venues such as Elsewhere, Knockdown Center, and Public Records. Her colorful, hybridized, and energetic approach to music is also featured on Bodywork, her residency on NTS. Influenced by the sounds of UK Bass music, NY/NJ club, drum breaks of all kinds, and internet experimentation, her sets are varied and exciting, and celebrate the vast landscape of local and global dance music. DJ cega is a Miami-born, Brooklyn-raised DJ excited by sexy grooves, fierce basslines, and community-centered dancefloors. Inspired by the Brooklyn club scene, he aims to blend the r&b and jazz sounds of his childhood with the liberating electronic tones of his adulthood. Spinning soulful, disco, and deep house sounds, cega focuses on creating a dance floor that is as emancipating as it is sensual. amita is a dj and curator spending time between new york city and tokyo. amita is driven by the bassy and the fast. Footwork to jungle, bass to breaks; they will get you off your feet and ready to dance.You may have heard amita at beloved NYC clubs like Public Records, Mood Ring, Bossa Nova Civic Club, Trans-Pecos, Market Hotel and more. They have been featured on mixes with the Lot Radio, Room 303, Tokyo Beer Labs, Hong Kong Community Radio, and SWU/Rinse FM. They co-curate nyc party series, rally, and is a resident with Hong Kong Community Radio. rally is a nyc-based party series that curates music for movement and gathering, not escape.
