The Northern Electronics Showcase features a lineup of artists representing deep, experimental sounds. Co-founder Anthony Linell brings his unique approach, merging stripped-back techno with experimental electronics. His performances are characterized by rhythmic precision and a stark atmosphere. Swedish artist Evigt Mörker offers a blend of melody and tension, creating psychedelic techno that is both immersive and subtly disorienting. Toronto's Rita Mikhael presents her project Trailcam, showcasing an evolution from her earlier work as E-Saggila, with a focus on emotional depth and experimental structures. California duo Torsion explores what they term substrate-agnostic techno, blending suspension and propulsion through circular patterns and textured soundscapes. Lastly, Kudeki contributes a decade of experience, weaving acid, industrial, and EBM influences into her hypnotic techno sets, rooted in the darker edges of the Bay Area underground through her Endzeit series and Müll residency.
