Berlin's vibrant underground scene continues to evolve with 𝓝𝓐𝓐ℛ, an innovative event series that bridges the worlds of jazz and electronic music. This gathering showcases the deep emotional essence of jazz while embracing contemporary electronic sounds, creating a dynamic atmosphere that resonates with the city's artistic spirit. The second edition features a live performance by Monica Mussungo, a Berlin-based singer-songwriter originally from Angola, who captivates audiences with her emotive vocal style. Known for her evocative interpretations and jazz improvisation, Mussungo will share the stage with Cuban trumpeter Daniel "El Congo" Allen for a unique musical collaboration. Also on the lineup is Aver, a genre-defying quartet led by Move 78, which blends influences from jazz and hip-hop with psychedelic elements. Their fresh sound is complemented by the talents of Matilde Squillante on bass, Andy Ptashka on trombone, and Nir Sabag on drums. Rounding off the night, DJ Lily Haz will deliver a bass-driven set that traverses various genres, showcasing her recent productions on Flippen Disks. Accompanying these performances will be a captivating light installation by WDIMMER40 and artwork by Ori Gold, enhancing the event’s creative ambiance.
