Music Promenade / 30 ans du CNCM at Philharmonie de Paris

In celebration of its thirtieth anniversary, the National Centers for Musical Creation (CNCM) presents an innovative sound journey at the Philharmonie de Paris. This event showcases the cutting-edge landscape of contemporary exploratory music through a unique auditory path involving an orchestra of speakers and live performances.

Eight notable artists, each pushing the boundaries of sound, have been commissioned to create new works for this occasion. Collaborating across various formats—solo, duo, trio, or ensemble—these musicians serve both as composers and performers, revealing a rich tapestry of contemporary expression. The event juxtaposes amplified sequences with acoustic proposals, crafting a dynamic atmosphere that invites listeners to engage with sound in multifaceted ways.

The evening is further enhanced by the participation of INA GRM, which will present its acousmonium in a series of segments. This setup will feature a blend of original pieces from invited artists alongside seminal works from influential composers in electroacoustic music, reflecting Paris's vibrant electronic scene.
