Minimal Music Festival 2026 - OCCAM HEXA V at Muziekgebouw aan t' IJ, Amsterdam

Éliane Radigue stands as a pioneering force in contemporary music, known for her innovative approach to sound since the 1950s. At the Minimal Music Festival 2026, Ensemble Klang will present two of her remarkable works, created in collaboration with virtuoso clarinetist Carol Robinson. These pieces, described as slowly evolving sound sculptures, defy traditional musical boundaries and invite listeners into a realm of abstract beauty. Since shifting to acoustic compositions in 2005, Radigue has focused on intimate collaborations with performers, eliminating traditional scores in favor of an oral tradition that emphasizes time, attentiveness, and sensitivity.
