MEMBA, a Brooklyn-based production duo, specializes in electronic music that incorporates ancient world rhythms. They gained global recognition with the track “For Aisha,” featured in the Bollywood film “The Sky Is Pink,” which premiered at TIFF and is available on Netflix. This song highlights their ability to create personally resonant music for a diverse audience. Their 2018 EP, SAGA-I, was designed as a multisensory experience, accompanied by unique relics for listeners to engage with the music. This was followed by SAGA-II in 2019, released on ODESZA’s label Foreign Family, which was presented through an audio-visual short film. In 2021, MEMBA launched their PHASES project, releasing four EPs aligned with the lunar cycle. MEMBA has performed at major festivals including EDC, Coachella, and Glastonbury, and has supported artists like ODESZA and Jai Wolf on tour. They recently released the UNI(\*)N EP in April 2023 and are set to embark on 'The Inevitable End' Tour, featuring an immersive stage production.
