What is IDRA Live?

Francesca Pavesi presents her experimental and ambient live project IDRA using modular synthesizers. IDRA is a musician, producer, and sound artist based in Milan, with a background in classical music, her practice explores experimental and ambient electronica, focused on developing a distinctive and personal sonic language. She combines ambient sounds, soundscapes, and organic textures with synthesizers and modular systems, creating an immersive sonic journey where her evolving research and improvisation guide listeners toward discovering their own landscapes. Alongside her artistic work, she collaborates with studios and interdisciplinary projects to create functional music designed to support emotional balance across mental, emotional, and physical dimensions. Her practice also extends to tactile sound installations and site specific works, as well as composition for short films, with work presented at Casa degli Artisti, Triennale, Bosco Studio, and Madame Claude, and ongoing collaboration with the label Seil Records
