Habibi Funk - Liverpool at 24 Kitchen Street, Paris

On April 4th, Liverpool will welcome Habibi Funk, a project spearheaded by Jannis Stürtz, known for his deep dive into the eclectic sounds of the Middle East and North Africa. Stürtz’s work spans genres including funk, soul, jazz, punk, and hip-hop, as he revives and reissues hidden musical treasures from the 1960s to the 1980s. His compilations not only celebrate the rich history of the region's music but also introduce contemporary artists, bridging past and present with a vibrant, cross-cultural sound.

Joining him for the night will be the Otra DJs, hailing from the Dharma Collective and Robasca. This duo is set to elevate the atmosphere with their eclectic mixes, reflecting Liverpool's dynamic electronic music scene.
