Headlining the night, The Busy Twist hails from Colombia and is celebrated for their innovative fusion of African, Caribbean, Latin, and UK club sounds. They've recorded with renowned artists like Amadou & Mariam and contributed to FIFA soundtracks, bringing a global perspective to their music. Following them is Gustavo Andrade & The Brasukas, a 14-piece ensemble known for their infectious rhythms that range from Samba to Brazilian Soul. Their previous performance at the Brazilian Carnival left a lasting impression, and fans can look forward to new material that promises to elevate the celebration. Santa Leticia, a Spanish DJ and music curator based in Newcastle, opens the night with her eclectic sets, which weave together genres from Latin America, the Caribbean, and beyond. London-based DJ Mattana wraps up the main stage with her Afro-Latin and Caribbean-infused beats, while Sheffield’s own Xufuzela Sounds and Linga Sound bring their jazz funk grooves to the Café space, ensuring a night rich with diverse sounds and cultural connections.
