The shape of FORMA to come: a fresh new club in Madrid with a DIY sound system, extended hours, and an intimate spirit. FORMA’s last party before a break takes place on February 21st, with a strong, collaboration-heavy lineup. Straight from London, HENRY arrives in Madrid for the first time. Curators of the label and mix series People & Places, and a well-known name in the UK underground scene, this duo will be in charge of a magical four-hour journey. From ethereal downtempo to faster, more psychedelic rhythms, their set won’t leave you indifferent. They’ve been among FORMA’s favorites since day one. If we had to define Gala & Aedis, we’d say “family”. Both DJs have been part of FORMA since the very beginning in different ways, and it’s a real pleasure to have them together. Gala (one half of Systema) is a well-established figure in the Spanish electronic scene, with appearances in cities like Amsterdam and Berlin. Aedis (one half of Iro Aka) is a word-of-mouth staple in Amsterdam, with recent EPs on Animalia, Hivern Discs, Spectral Bounce and Betonska. These two selectors will join forces to do what they do best: a groovy, bouncy and solid set moving between minimal, dubby and deep waves of sound, keeping the party going until the early morning hours. Last but not least, FORMA’s own Juanito Jones & Fuentes-Guerra close the circle, channelling the spontaneous, uplifting energy that’s always made this a party from friends, for friends.
