Fish Market presents "Year of the Horse" featuring Kim Anh in a themed concert experience during Lunar New Year week. The evening showcases Eastbound Echo, a 7-piece ensemble led by bassist Julian Wittich, who reinterprets Mandopop classics through jazz-inspired arrangements. The group includes dual vocalists, keys, sax, trumpet, and drums, delivering lush reharmonizations of nostalgic melodies. Also performing are the Subtle Asian Polers, a community of AAPI pole and aerial artists based in NYC, which features over 100 artists. They create a platform for Asian artists to express cultural identity through movement on pole, silks, and lyra. Following midnight, Kim Anh takes over the decks. With more than a decade of experience in underground dance culture, she blends classic house and disco with modern elements, incorporating catchy hooks and sensual lyrics while honoring the queer history of dance music. Kim Anh is now a resident DJ at NYC's Refuge.
