Cult Member (Liam Hayden) produces a hypnotic style of electronic music that blends techno, acid, and left-field club influences. Emerging from Canada's underground scene, he gained attention with his release "Ethernet" on Pure Life Tapes. His sound incorporates brooding textures and tense rhythms, reflecting a balance between euphoria and unease. Cult Member has received support from NTS and has evolved from experimental roots to a darker, hard-edged club aesthetic. Opening the event is benzii, a 23-year-old Berliner known for her emotional and high-energy club music. She merges dance, indie pop, and internet nostalgia, collaborating with underground artists like DJmegan23, Ayegy, and Paul Seul. Her EP "spirallore" explores the complexities of young adulthood, while the remix release "spirallore +++" continues to showcase her style. benzii is set to launch her debut album "8 – forever," establishing her presence in Berlin's underground scene.
