Amen GyalDem are a community committed to re-diversifying the rave scene by solely booking women and gender nonconforming poc. Lineups are always stacked, riddims are always bass-y and the night, to be remembered. Buntai is a London-based event brand and record label founded in 2021, specialising in Dubstep, Grime, Garage, Electro, and everything in between. Since launching, Buntai has built a strong reputation within the UK dance scene, hosting events and takeovers at platforms such as Fabric London, Boomtown, and Outlook Festival. Known for their raw, forward-thinking bookings and emphasis on underground culture, Buntai continues to push emerging talent while bridging sounds across the bass music spectrum. Mood Swings is a club night and community, which focuses on centering womxn DJs and showing the diversity of talent in the underground music scene, and with the intent of exploring and processing a range of emotions and ‘moods’ through clubbing and nightlife. The name is a play on the “mood swings” that womxn are often criticised for, and an echo to our goal of giving our audience an outlet for self-expression and emotional processing. The motto of “emotive partying”: using the club as a setting for therapy through dance, connection and collaboration is the primary focus..Co-founders Imaniii (Iman-Esayo Dekonor) and VIRI$$ (Clarisse Sri-Pathmanathan) started Mood Swings out of frustration and in an attempt to lessen the gap of opportunities for womxn of colour DJs. Additionally, as DJs themselves, they were both looking for more creative and mission-driven events than what they were seeing in London & Brighton. Mood Swings showcases dynamic lineups, hosting a number of genres which curated together create unique clubbing experiences.
