What is BLIND_2?

After a sold-out and widely felt debut, we return with our second Blind event — running it back with sharper intention, deeper sound, and an even more immersive environment. This night is designed to unfold slowly, deliberately, and without distraction. The lineup brings together artists with global reach and deep roots in underground club culture: NE/RA/A — A Spanish-born, Brooklyn-based DJ whose work spans industrial, EBM, and hypnotic techno. As a resident of MERGE, her sets have become fixtures in queer and boundary-pushing spaces worldwide. She has performed across Europe, Asia, and the Americas, with regular appearances at New York institutions including BASEMENT (Queens), where her precise, driving selections are built for long-form movement and endurance. AUSPEX — A central figure in New York’s underground ecosystem. As founder and resident of ALTÆR at BASEMENT, AUSPEX has shaped some of the city’s most immersive late-night experiences. His sound is patient, physical, and ritualistic, informed by years of international touring and releases that prioritize depth over immediacy. His sets are engineered for altered states and collective focus. KXAH — A rising force within experimental and club-adjacent techno, KXAH’s work sits at the intersection of tension, texture, and repetition. Known for emotionally restrained yet commanding sets, KXAH has built a reputation for guiding rooms through subtle intensity rather than excess. Their presence adds a darker, more introspective current to the night. DREAM — Blurring atmosphere and rhythm, DREAM delivers hypnotic, slow-burn techno that emphasizes mood, sensuality, and flow. His sets dissolve time, favoring long transitions and immersive pacing over peaks, making him a natural fit for an overnight journey. This is a strict no-phone environment. Zero tolerance will be enforced to protect the integrity of the space. An awareness team will be present throughout the night to ensure safety, consent, and respect. This is a judgment-free space, centering BIPOC and LGBTQ+ communities. Latex and expressive attire are encouraged. Bar and water will be available. Additional elements include a live performance by VERBAL ANIMAL (PLAYMETECHNO), lighting and fabric installation by @seanflaynik, lighting by @innerlightnyc, and sound by @it.studios.online. Early entry is strongly encouraged. This is a long night, designed to move quickly once you are inside.
