Founded by Pete Adarkwah and Ben Jolly, BBE takes its name from The Universal Robot Band’s 1982 classic and has become a cornerstone of funk, soul, jazz and club music worldwide. Leading the celebration are Pete BBE and Jeff Higgins, curators and guardians of the label’s vision over three decades. Through sublabels such as Deep Funk and Urban Theory, and landmark projects like the Beat Generation LP series, BBE has played a crucial role in preserving and reintroducing timeless grooves with deep respect for vinyl culture and musical heritage. The night is completed by Dudier, Marcos Boricua and Nacho Larache, whose sets will complement the celebration with their own refined approach to rhythm and dancefloor connection.
