Hannah O’Gorman finds her musical roots scattered far and wide. From an upbringing filled with psych, folk, and experimental electronics on one side and samba and bossa nova on the other, this DJ has become an expert in drawing common threads between seemingly disparate sounds. Hannah's eclectic approach to selecting has landed her support slots for the likes of Gilles Peterson and Coco Maria as well as appearances at We Out Here Festival and a residency for Worldwide FM. Alongside Keltoi, Hannah forms one half of Nossa!, a Manchester based event series, DJ duo and musical community. Their sets are characterised by a shared love of organic and left-field sounds from all over the world and the joy of finding interesting routes back and forth through their respective record collections. You can catch Nossa! throwing regular parties in much loved venues across Manchester. From Brazilian carnivals in pubs to live acts in clubs, Nossa! parties are all about creating a warm, welcoming and safe space for their community to explore the music, shake their hips and be their fullest selves.
