Shkoon

Shkoon released their debut album "Rima" in December 2019, followed by a significant album tour. The band blends traditional Syrian folklore with electronic downbeat, deep house, dub, and hip-hop influences, creating a unique sound that reflects cultural diversity. Ameen and Thorben formed the band in Hamburg in 2015 after meeting during a spontaneous jam session.

As a key contributor to Electronic, Shkoon brings a unique energy to the decks, incorporating elements of Electronic into a cohesive sonic identity. Shkoon's sets draw from a broad palette of Electronic influences, reflecting years of engagement with the genre's roots and its current directions.
