Octave One

Octave One is an American techno production duo from Detroit consisting of brothers Lenny and Lawrence Burden. Founded 430 West Records in 1990. Productions include Black Water, The Bearer, and Blackwater. Their live performances feature hardware synthesizers and drum machines. The track Blackwater became one of the most recognized Detroit techno anthems. Regular appearances at Movement Detroit and techno festivals worldwide represent Detroit techno's melodic traditions.
