Funkerman

Funkerman, born Ardie van Beek in 1975 in Breda, The Netherlands, is a DJ and producer known for founding Flamingo Recordings. He began his career in the mid-nineties at the Spock club in Breda while working at the local record store Magik, and he became an A&R manager in the Dutch dance music scene. Notable releases include his tracks ‘Speed Up’ and ‘Rule the Night,’ and he has collaborated with artists like Fedde le Grand.

As a key contributor to Electronic, Funkerman brings a unique energy to the decks, incorporating elements of Electronic into a cohesive sonic identity. Funkerman's sets draw from a broad palette of Electronic influences, reflecting years of engagement with the genre's roots and its current directions.
