Jovonn

Jovonn co-founded Goldtone Records in the early 1990s and made a significant impact on the house music scene with his 1991 release, “Turn and Runaway,” which reached number 10 on the Billboard chart. He has produced over 500 records across various genres, including House, R&B, Hip-Hop, and Neo Soul. A native of Brooklyn and current resident of Queens, he began his career as a Hip-Hop DJ at the age of 14 before fully committing to House music.

Hailing from New York, Jovonn has established themselves as a distinctive voice, incorporating elements of Electronic into a cohesive sonic identity. Jovonn's sets draw from a broad palette of Electronic influences, reflecting years of engagement with the genre's roots and its current directions.
